• Maintain only one account per person

4. Voting Rules

When participating in votes:

• Votes cannot be changed after submission
• All votes are anonymous and cannot be traced back to you
• You must vote before you can view results or participate in discussions
• Issues close after a predetermined period (typically 21 days)

5. Community Guidelines

When commenting or participating in discussions, you must not:

• Post hateful, discriminatory, or offensive content
• Make threats or incite violence
• Share personal information about yourself or others
• Engage in harassment or bullying
• Post spam, advertisements, or promotional content
• Attempt to manipulate votes or discussions
• Use automated tools or bots

Violations may result in comment removal, account suspension, or permanent ban.

6. Content Moderation

OurSay reserves the right to review, moderate, and remove any content that violates these Terms. We use automated filters and community reporting to maintain a respectful environment. Removed content and the reasons for removal will be logged.

7. Issue Creation (Admin Only - MVP Phase)

During our MVP phase, only verified administrators can create issues. In the future, we plan to allow verified users to submit issues for a fee. Issues must be:

• Relevant to Australian federal policy or national interest
• Non-partisan and clearly worded
• Answerable with Yes/No

8. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain ownership of comments and content you post. By posting, you grant OurSay a license to display, distribute, and analyze your content.

Our Content: The OurSay platform, logo, design, and aggregated voting data are owned by OurSay. You may not reproduce or redistribute without permission.

9. Data Usage

We collect and use your data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using OurSay, you consent to this data collection and usage.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

OurSay is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for accuracy and reliability, we do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Accuracy of voting results or discussions
• Protection against all security threats

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law, OurSay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Significant changes will be communicated via email.
